How Credits Work
The complete explanation of credit balances, generation costs, and credit behaviour.
On this page
Credits pay for AI generation. Each generation action deducts the cost of the model you chose from your balance, and the deduction is recorded in your credit usage history.
How the system behaves
- Credits apply to generation only. Ordering a physical mousepad is a separate purchase.
- Generation cost depends on the model, so switching models changes what a generation costs.
- Balances support decimal precision, so both costs and balances can display fractional values.
- Every deduction appears in credit usage history, which is the record to check first.
Credit packages and pricing
This information will be published when the option becomes available.
Expiration and promotional credits
Purchased credits and promotional credits — such as credits earned through sharing or referrals — may follow different terms. Where terms differ, they are shown with the credits in the billing interface and in the published credit terms.
- Credit TermsThe published terms for credits.
- Credit ExpirationHow expiration is handled.
- Credit RefundsWhen credits can be returned.
Failed generations
When a generation fails, handling follows the policy displayed in the product at that time. Check credit usage history to confirm whether the attempt was charged before contacting support.
