This guide walks the full path once: open the AI Studio, describe an idea, generate artwork, refine it, customize the mousepad, and check out.

From idea to order

   Step 1: Open the AI Studio

   The Studio is where every design starts. You can open it directly from the documentation header.

   Step 2: Select the mousepad format you want

   Choose the format first. It sets the canvas proportions, and composition that works on a wide canvas is very different from a square one.

   Step 3: Describe your design idea

   Write what you want to see: subject, setting, style, colours, and mood. A specific description gets you far closer than a two-word prompt.

   Step 4: Choose a generation model

   Models differ in style, detail handling, and generation cost. If one model misses what you wanted, another may interpret it differently.

   Step 5: Generate the design

   Generation spends credits from your balance. One completed generation produces one layer on the canvas.

   Step 6: Review the result carefully

   Zoom in. Check faces, hands, lettering, logos, and small objects. AI models frequently distort fine detail, and print makes those flaws more visible than a screen preview.

   Step 7: Adjust the design or add layers

   Reposition, scale, rotate, and reorder what you have. Use Add Layer when you want an extra generated element on top of the existing artwork.

   Confirm the format and the available physical options for your design.

   The final preview is your approval step. Check that nothing important sits near an edge and that the artwork fills the canvas as intended.

    After checkout your design moves into production. Order progress is visible from your order details.

Best practices for a first design

• Pick the format before writing the prompt so the composition suits the canvas.
• Keep the first prompt to one clear subject rather than five competing ideas.
• Generate a couple of variations before committing to refinements.
• Keep faces, text, and logos away from the outer edges.
• Read the final preview at full zoom, not at thumbnail size.

Common mistakes

• Approving a design after only looking at a small preview.
• Asking for long sentences of text in the artwork — AI-generated lettering is often wrong.
• Filling the exact centre with detail that the mouse and keyboard will cover in daily use.
• Clicking Generate repeatedly while a generation is still running.
