Chat for Ideas

Chat for Ideas is a conversation you have before generating. It is for shaping a vague idea into a design direction you are confident spending credits on.

What it does

• Conversational brainstorming — talk through an idea in plain language instead of guessing at prompt wording.
• Suggestions — get concrete directions when you only have a theme.
• Prompt refinement — turn the agreed direction into a prompt you can generate from.
• Optional web-assisted research — enable research when a concept depends on real-world reference.
• Voice input — describe an idea out loud instead of typing.
• Add Logo — bring a logo into the conversation so it is considered in the direction.
• Add Reference — attach a reference image to anchor style or subject.

When to use this

The research setting

Research is optional and off unless you enable it. Turn it on when the concept depends on details worth checking — a specific vehicle generation, a landmark, a period style. Leave it off for purely imaginative work, where it adds nothing.

Managing conversations

   Step 1: Open conversation history

   Earlier conversations remain available so you can return to a direction you set aside.

   Step 2: Rename a chat

   Give a conversation a descriptive name so you can find the thread again later.

   Step 3: Delete a chat

   Remove a conversation you no longer need.

Best practices

• Tell the conversation what the design is for — an extended mousepad, a specific desk setup, a gift.
• React honestly to suggestions. Saying what you dislike narrows the direction faster than praise.
• Ask for the finished prompt explicitly once a direction feels right.
• Attach a reference when style matters more than subject.
