Credits are how AI generation is paid for in CursorCulture. Generating artwork spends credits; ordering a mousepad is a separate purchase.

How credits are used

  • Credits are spent on AI generation actions in the AI Studio.
  • Different models can have different generation costs, so the same prompt may cost different amounts depending on the model you choose.
  • Balances can include decimal precision, so a balance may display a fractional value.
  • You can purchase additional credits at any time from the billing interface.

Seeing your balance and history

Your current balance is visible in the AI Studio while you work, so you can see whether a generation is affordable before starting it. Credit usage history lists what was spent and when, which is the first place to look if a balance does not match what you expected.

Failed generations

If a generation fails, handling follows the policy shown in the product at the time of the failure. Check your credit usage history first to see whether the attempt was charged, then contact support if the record and your balance disagree.

Promotional and purchased credits

Promotional credits — for example credits earned through sharing or referrals — may follow different terms from credits you purchase. Where those terms differ, the difference is shown with the credits themselves in the billing interface.
